For this week's Scenes of the City we visited one of the best parks in the city, Glen Canyon Park, and took a look at the new improvements. Construction just finished (funded by a 2008 bond) and a few of the major changes include: the Elk Street entry plaza, the new playground, tennis court rennovations, new lanscaping, and 160 new trees.
Tucked away in the southeren end of the city, the park features lots of trails to enjoy, rocks to boulder on, ball fields, a gymnasium, and many other facilities.
