San Francisco is a design-obsessed town, no question, so looking at notable Bay Area designers is not only a lesson in contemporary design, but in the culture of the city, as well. Right now through April 26th, the San Francisco Museum of Craft+Design is exhibiting "San Francisco Graphic Design", an exhibit featuring thirteen local designers whose work runs the gamut from website to exhibit, print to packaging. There's some truly inspiring (and often very recognizable) work in the show, so it's definitely worth checking out. The museum will also be hosting a speaker series in conjunction with the exhibit, including "The Business of Design" on March 5th, which focuses on the process in which designers and their clients collaborate to create innovative work. What a great opportunity for those interested in starting a career in graphic design, no? Find out more here.
