SF Vintner's Market Returns to Fort Mason This Weekend

By

San Francisco Vintners Market is the original farmers' market for wineries.  We are the world's largest tasting room. This weekend is your chance to try, buy, and walk out the door with your favorite wines. Our "Harvest in the City" celebration will be October 15 and 16th.

Try hundreds of local artisan producers, large and small, everyone from Cameron Hughes, Bounty Hunter, Freemark Abby and Chateau Montelena, to boutique producers such as Courtesan, La Jota Vineyards, and meet dozens of little guys in Mendocino's Saloon at the event. They come from all over:  Mendocino, Napa, Sonoma, Paso–showcasing the best of California's terroir.

Everyone from celebrity to next generation and up-and-coming winemakers will be on hand to answer your questions — past wine luminaries have included winemakers Heidi Barrett, Bridget Raymond, Jean-Charles Boissett, and many more.

Sample wines from over 150 local wineries at the San Francisco Vintners Market. Barrel tastings, rare vintages, and new releases flow freely throughout the halls of the historic Fort Mason pavilions, while special weekend only discounts abound.  Try before you buy, buy before you forget the label, and, most importantly, beef up your cellar before the holidays.

For a coveted experience, gain exclusive access to San Francisco Vintners Market’s Reserve Room—featuring wines starting at $50 per bottle—for a sampling of the most renowned flavors the market has to offer. Also get in an hour early at noon to avoid the line and try more wine!
