For $8.7 million, the Auberge life can be yours at Napa's new Stanly Ranch

Twelve years and over $275 million in the making, the newest member of the Auberge Resorts Collection is set to make its debut in Napa this spring.

On 712 acres planted with vineyards and eucalyptus trees and with views of the Mayacamas Mountains, Stanly Ranch is designed to be the ultimate in luxury Wine Country experiences, whether you're checking into a guestroom for the weekend or throwing down for one of its posh residential villas.

Designed by Bob White of Forest Studio with interiors by San Francisco's Edmonds + Lee Architects, the residences embody what White calls sensorial design, which "effortlessly connects residents to the scents, sounds, and textures of the land." This means you can expect indoor-outdoor living at its finest.

The five-bedroom villa #13 has six-and-a-half baths and spans over 4,000 square feet. The interiors nod to the history of the ranch as a tannery center—think modern and warm ranch house with vaulted ceilings in the great room and a limestone fireplace anchoring the living area. The open floor plan flows into a dining area with a wall of glass that opens entirely to a lush courtyard. The chef's kitchen has a large island and a sleek stone palette.

The primary suite is cozy with its own fireplace and spa-inspired bathroom with a standalone soaking tub and outdoor shower.

But because this is an Auberge Resort and it's in the Napa Valley, life here is as much as about the gorgeous grounds as what's inside the home. The villa has a private pool and loggia with an outdoor fireplace and vineyards views.

Membership, too, has its privileges: Homeowners at Stanly Ranch have access to all the resort's services and amenities including a fitness center and wellbeing space with treatments like hyperbaric oxygen therapy and “bio-hacking” technologies; multiple pools; and various event venues.

A central gathering space will be the resort's hub with a restaurant, coffee bar, and a reception area with a bike shed and valet parking. A chic "bird's nest" holds hanging seating and fire pits.
