On December 18, the SF Social raised more than $40,000 to benefit the KIPP Bay Area Schools—a network of free college-preparatory schools for underprivileged children—exceeding goals and delighting a sold-out crowd. Approximately 350 young adults from San Francisco and surrounding areas came together at the Fairmont Hotel to show their support and commitment to education for local students in-need. SF Social founder Anderson Pugash said: "KIPP is an amazing organization that empowers, educates and brings opportunity to our underprivileged youth. The full house was a testament to the passion and support that this worthy cause is garnering, and it was truly moving to see so many young people come together to give and invest in other's futures.”
