This Week in Fashion: The Most Stylish Halloween Parties

By

All dressed up and nowhere to go? Nonsense! Check out our picks for the most fashionable Halloween parties in SF.

1. Club 1994 Halloween Special at Vessel (85 Campton Pl.), Saturday October 29, 9pm-3am, $28.50.

Think Beverly Hills 90210, Clueless, and Saved By the Bell. Take it back to the 90s this Saturday with local fashion starlet and Halloween hostess, Ava Berlin, and DJs Stretch Armstrong (NYC), Jeffrey Paradise and Vin Sol. We're guessing it'll be part dance party, part sing-a-long with dusted-off TRL hits and lots of old school hip hop. Blow out your hair, fold down those socks and dance like it's 1994.

2. Halloween 2011: A Red Carpet Runway Massacre at Jones (620 Jones St.), Saturday October 29, 9pm-2am, $35-$75.

Take advantage of the gorgeous weather and catch local designer, Christopher Collins (Project Runway Season 8) hosting a midnight runway show on Jones' rooftop patio. All masked villain and vixens will be invited to strut down the runway for a chance to win costume contest prizes from Gimme Shoes, Mr. Retro Fit, Stephen Saiz Salon, Sui Generis, Union Made, and more! Oh, and did we mention an open bar and limitless hors d'oeuvres are included in the ticket price? Yep, there's that too.

3. Halloween International Ball at The Hilton Union Square(333 O'Farrell St.), Saturday October 29, 9pm-2am, $25-$75.

Have an amazing kimomo from that fabulous trip to Tokyo, an ornate impulse-buy sari you never thought you'd wear, or a straight-up badass turban? Whip it out and costume up for the annual International Ball. Expect 6 dance floors with 10 world renowned DJs (including SF's very own DJ Solomon), a live salsa band, and, of course, a sea of festive costumes.
