Music
Death Cab for Cutie, Goapele, and Jackie Greene
Start the week off with an acoustic solo show by local favorite Jackie Greene at Cafe Du Nord. Starting Tuesday, Death Cab will play three shows at the Fox, and the May 10 set still has tickets available. My pick of the week, though, is Bay Area native Goapele, who will be playing three shows at Yoshi's in support of her new single "Tears on my Pillow" off her EP Break of Dawn. See her live before you can catch her on the big screen in the highly anticipated Sparks, a film starring the late Ms. Houston, Jordin Sparks, Mike Epps, and Derek Luke.
