It's not just rogue artists and serial law breakers—this show extends beyond street art to far more complicated legal territory. Artists in this exhibit have been accused of bio-terrorism, who have documented the Occupy movements, and artists whose projects only exist in virtual reality due to legal battles. Check out the free opening reception from 6-9 p.m. on Thurs. 3/8.

Mortified Live Taping
On Thursday, be part of the action and attend the live taping of Mortified which will be used for an upcoming documentary. Expect a show of the most unique fan favorites from the past six years. "Living in Studio Kuchar"
The gallery at SFAI hosts this retrospective of avant-garde filmmaker George Kuchar, an SFAI faculty member who passed away last year. The show features props from some of his 200-plus films, personal memorabilia, and clips from Kuchar's movies that inspired the likes of John Waters and Gus Van Sant.

Bold Italic Nightlife at Cal Academy
The Bold Italic crew has organized a tour of "meta-hoods" showcasing the best SF has to offer—Ice Cream Basin recognizes all the local scoops purveyors, Artcelsior highlights artist Hugh Leeman's pop-up street art, and Twin Steeps celebrates SF's expertise in local coffee and tea.
