Labor Day is upon us again! North of the city there are fantastic events going on all weekend. Be it food, art or music there will be something for you to do.

Browse Some Amazing Art
For the duration of the long weekend Sausalito is playing host to one of the oldest, most prestigious and most looked-forward-to Art Festivals in the country. This year is the Sausalito Art Festival’s 60th anniversary, and to celebrate they are pulling out all the stops! Around 300 award-winning artists will be exhibiting and selling more than 25,000 works of art along the waterfront. Look forward to a range of work including painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography and more. There will also be tons of amazing food choices, as well as cold beer and wine for festival goers. With three stages of live music including the bands America, Smash Mouth, Herman’s Hermits and The Yardbirds, it'll be a fantastic three days of art, food and music. It costs $25 and children under 6 years are free!

Take a Gourmet Stroll Around Napa
Featuring a fabulous selection of artisan cheeses, salami, wine-infused chocolate, and breakfast tacos, this is definitely a tour for serious foodies. You’ll share in the fascinating history of this beautiful riverfront town, where celebrity chefs intermingle with organic farmers and boutique winemakers. Beginning at the Oxbow Market, where a seasonal bounty of California specialty foods and produce awaits you, the tour will cross the Napa River and visit 19th-century historic buildings that weathered Prohibition to showcase the latest trends in California food and wine. It is a three hour tour and tickets can be purchased here.

Watch Live Music at Terrapin Crossroads
Terrapin Crossroads is a restaurant and music venue opened by Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead that pays homage to the abundant varieties of fresh ingredients and homegrown creative talent from the Bay Area. This Sunday is the final West Coast Ramble for the summer, where Phil will be joined onstage by Neal Casal, Mark Karan, Joe Russo, and Adam Mac Dougall for a night of incredible music. Grab some delicious food from the Terrapin Crossroads’ kitchen and head out and watch the Ramble with a cold beer in hand. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the band kick off at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $65 and can be purchased here.
