Fourteen years ago, Jen Romero and Cara Torruellas made a match online. Last May, they finally tied the knot on a vineyard under the Napa sun.
May in Wine Country means sunshine galore, but the brides didn't sweat the heat. At their a French Country–themed wedding, Jen and Cara provided vine-green parasols for their guests as they floated down the aisle, arm in arm with their dads, to say their vows. Signs reading Mrs. + Mrs. were hung on the dinner chairs, and individualized cakes—one a triple-layered classic, the other a fun Giants jersey—flaunted the couple's style.
Guests added grains of sand to a heart-shaped jar in memory of both of the brides' deceased mothers, before Jen and Cara shared a touching dance with their fathers. Cancan dancers kicked off the evening dancing, and guests got to share the floor with the hot pink performers as the sun set and string lights flickered on.
