Needles to Thread: Dancing Along These Lines in Continuum Alley
What: Choreographer and aerial artist Jo Kreiter presents "Needles to Thread," a free, aerial dance performance suspended between two buildings. The third installment in a series of site-specific performances, Needles to Thread focuses on the themes of urban poverty and women's wage security through the story of San Francisco's present and past garment workers.
When: Performances take place October 8th-10th, at 8pm & 9pm.
Where: Head to Continuum Alley in the Tenderloin District (Golden Gate Ave; between Leavenworth and Hyde)
SOAR
What: From its humble beginnings in 1981, San Francisco Fleet Week has become an annual tradition featuring air shows, ship tours, live music, and tons of food trucks. Enjoy a tasty meal from Off the Grid while watching an air performance from the famous Blue Angels. Want to be up close to the action? Purchase tickets so you can have the best seat in the house. October Sunrise Tour of Muir Woods
What: Want to get an early start to your day? Muir Woods National Monument & Visitors Center invites you to substitute your lazy Sunday for an early morning, three-mile stroll through Muir Woods' gorgeous redwood forest. Early birds will be able watch a picture perfect sunrise while learning about plant and animal residents. Reservations are required. Make sure to dress in layers—Karl will be at his worst.
When: Sunday, October 11th, from 7-11am.

CELEBRATE
Ocean Beach Music and Art Festival
What: Outer Sunset residents and the Outer Noriega Merchant Association (ONMA) are teaming up again to present this second annual music and art festival. Serving as a tribute to the beauty, value, and history of San Francisco's Ocean Beach, there will be over twenty live music acts featured on over seven different stages. Additional festivities include a pumpkin patch, petting zoo, and kids zone. Best of all, it's free. Check out the full line up here.

San Francisco Music Video Mini-Fest
What: The second installment of this miniature festival, over five local bands will screen their music videos and discuss the creative process that goes into their production. Enjoy up-close, ad-free videos while having one-on-one conversations with the people behind the process. Featured acts include Emily Whitehurst, Scott Mickelson, Debbie Neigher, Kat Raubichaud And the Darling Misfits, Alzara Spellbinder, and more.
When: Wednesday, October 14th, at 7pm.
