If you’re new to the Bay Area, you might have missed experiencing The Masonic the first time around. After briefly closing its doors for renovations, the storied venue will reopen in September with a bang. The Masonic’s September lineup includes a must-see opening night show with Beck on September 19th, followed by Old Crow Medicine on the 20th, Train on the 21st and 22nd, Modest Mouse on the 26th, Christina Perri on the 29th, and Pixies on the 30th. If you’ve been looking for an excuse to revamp your concert calendar, this is it—and we're giving away two tickets to see San Francisco's own Train.
The folks at The Masonic haven’t been snoozing during renovations—the revamped space includes a brand-spanking-new stage, custom sound system, and a general admission area that replaced stationary seats on the main floor, so you can get up close and personal with the performers. There are VIP boxes for the show with their own servers as well as an entire VIP room—time to splurge! Knowing the SF crowd well, they also upped the number of bars sprinkled throughout the venue. Enough said.
To kick off your love affair with The Masonic, we have one pair of tickets to give away to a lucky reader for the September 21st performance. All you have to do is sign up for our newsletter (below) by Friday, September 12th. We'll choose one person at random and notify the winner via email. Good luck!
The Masonic re-opens on September 19th, with a full list of shows available at sfmasonic.com.
