On October 17, 7x7 honored our Hot 30 2012—our editors' annual roundup of San Francisco's most promising and prominent innovators in food, sports, the arts, science, technology, design, business, nonprofits, and more—with a private, exclusive event at the fantastic Jones lounge and restaurant nearby Union Square.

Guests enjoyed inventive specialty cocktails made with Finlandia vodka—which also provided a fun "ice luge" and photo op—fantastic margaritas made with Herradura; ice cold Sapporo beer; and delicious cabernet sauvignon and sauvignon blanc from Peju Province Winery along with a new chilled white+red blend from their new collection, Tess.

The evening featured a specially-decorated area devoted to the exquisite vacation destination Puerto Vallarta, where guests entered to win a fabulous trip that included two-round trip tickets courtesy of Virgin America, and a three-night all-inclusive stay at the Sheraton Buganvilias Resort!

More than 500 special guests converged on the famed upper terrace overlooking Geary Street on one of the more gloriously warm evenings that San Francisco had seen, enjoying bites from Jones' special catering menu while grooving to an exclusive soundscape curated by Hot 30 winner Mason Bates.
