On Friday, a mishmash of fancypants gathered at the Bently Reserve to see and be seen at the Gorgeous & Green Gala. Were you there? Lucky you. Goldie Hawn, Oscar winner/star of one of the greatest movies of all time, was there. So was actress/singer Vanessa Hudgens, actor Austin Butler, actor Paul Hipp, and "fashion host and lifestyle expert" Louise Roe made an appearance.
Formidable Twitter guru Ev Williams was there, as well as a slew of other officials, philanthropists, CEOs, technology founders, and other people who can probably afford to rent a 1BR in the city if they wanted to. (Ha! They don't even need to; they own.)
On a more clever note, Shoshana Bean, famous for taking over the verdigris-tinged role of Elphaba in Wicked after Idina Menzel, was there to entertain the crowd.
In the end, the event was, of course, a smashing success, raising well over $400,000 for Global Green USA.
