Coldplay Possibly the Best Show of the Year

By

There's no better way to kick off your week than an evening with Chris Martin on a Monday.

Coldplay performed for a sold out house at Shoreline Amphitheatre. They rocked their chart topping hits including Yellow, Fix You, Lovers in Japan and the infamous Grammy awarded Song of the Year, Viva la Vida. The band ran through the crowd, protected by those guys in the yellow shirts, and performed on multiple small stages to share the love with the fans sitting in row 100 and beyond. Chris Martin then choreographed Shoreline's first ever cellphone wave, followed by an acoustic rendition of Billie Jean in tribute to Michael Jackson and a closing finale of raining paper butterflies. Hands down the best show thus far whether you were sitting in row 1 or row 701/the lawn.

Free copies of their album Left Right Left Right Left were given to everyone on the way out (which you can also download for free here). Thanks Coldplay.
