Life After "The Starter Wife"

By

Few authors (or people, for that matter) pull off self-depricating charm like Gigi Levangie Grazer. But a quick look at her bio proves that despite a high-profile divorce from mega-producer, Brian Grazer (ever heard of Apollo 13 or 24?), and international acclaim (for the 2005 novel The Starter Wife, and its subsequent miniseries and TV series starring Debra Messing), Levangie Grazer remains firmly grounded. Currently living in LA with her two children and three miniature daschunds, the author also hasn't slowed down, despite a plethora of praise and another TV adaptation (Lifetime premiered Maneater, based on her first novel, on May 30). This month, you can get your hands on Levangie Grazier's addictive fourth novel, Queen Takes King, rooted in the dirty, rotten details of a high-powered Manhattan divorce. And mark your calendars, because next Wednesday, June 24, you can meet the woman behind the words. Levangie Grazer will be doing a book signing at the Ferry Building's Book Passage at 6 PM. Hopefully, the author will be just as witty and uninhibited as the characters in her novels.
