Graffiti Artists Transform Hotel Zetta

Graffiti Artists Transform Hotel Zetta

SoMa's newest and coolest boutique stay, the Hotel Zetta, also home to It restaurant The Cavalier, has gotten a recent, edgy makeover thanks to graffiti artists from around the country.

The 7 Story Canvas exhibit brings street art indoors, with seven floors of the hotel now properly tagged by international mural artists, each hand-selected by renowned artists Buff Monster and Apexer.

Artists were chosen from a pool of around 600 entrants who applied via an Instagram contest to paint the hotel's main stairwell. San Francisco–based artist Sean Griffin was the big winner of the #ZettaMurals contest, taking home a $5,000 prize.
