Celebrate Sicilian Style

Celebrate Sicily's heritage with pizza and wine. In honor of the anniversary of Italy's Liberation Day on April 25, Tony Gemignani has created a special Sicilian pizza menu that highlights the rich bounty of native Sicilian ingredients paired with Sicily's own Stemmari Wines, served by the glass. There's a roasted zucchini and squash pizza, a tomato, anchovy, and roasted eggplant pizza, and a special margherita topped with cherry tomatoes, burrata, and a drizzle of aged balsamic. Yes, please. // Tuesday, April 26—Tuesday, May 3, 1570 Stockton Street (North Beach), tonyspizzanapoletana.com

Inaugural Agave Fest Presented by Calavera

\We knew there was a reason we loved Calavera (aside from the delicious food and drinks). They've always had a deep love for all things agave, and now they've translated that into a nine day (love)fest with guest bartenders and nightly tastings. Drink your way through all the agave producing regions of Mexico without leaving the country. There will also be several special produce dinners and a special a la carte menu created by Calavera's new executive chef, Sophina Uong. Get down there while you still can! // April 21- April 30, 2337 Broadway (Oakland) calaveraoakland.com

Hawaiian Pop-Up Goes Brick-and-Mortar

'āina, the former Hawaiian brunch pop-up in Bernal Heights, will open the doors to its brick-and-mortar today in the Dogpatch. Behind the kitchen is Hawaiian chef-owner Jordan Keao, and he'll be cooking up malasadas, spam musubi from scratch, kalbi loco moco, and more. // Open Wednesday-Friday, 10am-3pm and Saturday-Sunday, 9am-3pm, 900 22nd St. (Dogpatch), ainasf.com

Tequila & Mezcal Tasting

What better way to get familiar with the smoky spirit mezcal than an evening of tastings? There will be a plethora of brands on hand to educate, and The Clift Hotel will have bar bites available for purchase to ensure you can sip your way through the night. // $40, Friday April 29, 5pm-8pm, 495 Geary St. (Union Square), Get tickets here.
