World Series By the Numbers @ Public House & Mijita

By

Okay, so you've been scrambling to plan your own barbecue celebrating the Giants smoking the Texas Rangers in their World Series showdown. You need a few cases of beer, a couple of pounds of meat and veggies and other accoutrements, right? Well, that's absolutely nothing compared to the World Series prep Public House and Mijita (ground zero for drunken revelers) are putting on for the first two games.

Here's our "World Series By the Numbers" down at the ballpark, courtesy of John Epperheimer, Director of Operations at both restaurants:

Pounds of ingredients for their most popular food: 300 lbs of ribs, 150 lbs bacon, 300 lbs chicken wings, 400 lbs of beef, 400 lbs of French fries, over 2000 tacos.

Number of kegs of their most popular beers: Over 1340 kegs in reserve right now, and that will get us through 1.5 days.

Extra bars set up for the masses: 2, one on the Mijita patio and one in the entryway to Public House.

Any extra secret doors to the stadiums? Just the one semi-secret one.

Which food will stay best from purchase to your seat at the game? Wings, tacos, nachos, and all 5 of our hot dogs and sausages.

Which cocktail at either joint will get your drunk the quickest? Corpse Reviver for sure, a mixture of 209 gin, absinthe, Cointreau, and Lillet Blanc.

Extra TVs and sound equipment getting set up for the games: We added two TVs facing out to the Public House patio, to make a total of 25 TVs between Public House and Mijita.

Go Giants!!!
