Standout-Sparkle: Melissa Joy Manning One-of-a-Kind Diamond Rings
Diamonds. Girls. BFFs. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Got it. But that shouldn’t mean befriending just any ‘ole dazzler. For sparkle that stands out, look to Melissa Joy Manning. The Oakland-based designer recently added a handful of one-of-a-kind diamond rings to her web site that feature colored stones and 18K gold bands. Ranging from .4 to 3.6 carats, the bezel set stones are strikingly unique, and most feature the designer’s signature hammered texturing on the bands. The small, limited-edition collection includes a rectangular oval with a Champagne hue that’s warm and festive, a grey rosecut piece with a certain smoky mystery to it and a pear diamond stone with flecks of pink and brown wrapped in a sleek, smooth band. Each can be worn alone or stacked among Manning’s gold bands. www.melissajoymanning.com
