Cleaning out your closet can be a terrible task indeed, but add the promise of wine and new (to you, at least) clothes as incentive, and it’s suddenly not so bad.

Tonight you’ll find both waiting at Avra Organic Spa in Fisherman’s Wharf, where Fashion Slave will be hosting its first clothing exchange event of 2010.

It’s short notice, we know, so dive into your closet, grab a few good condition wearables that you’re ready to part with, snag a bottle of wine or snack to share from the corner store on the way and head over this evening for a two-hour swap session. Leave what you no longer want and head home with new clothing, shoes and accessories that catch your eye. Anything left at the end of the exchange will be donated to local non-profit Community Thrift.

Attendees will also be able to purchase Fashion Slave Local Shoppers Club cards for $10 during the event.
