Thanks to everyone who voted in our 2011 Hot 20 Under (and Over) 40 Readers' choice. This year's nominees were an impressive group —all movers and shakers in the Bay Area music, tech, culture, food, literary, sports and medicine commuties. Social networks were rallied, tens of thousands of votes were tallied, and in the end, it was writer, blogger and video host Beth Spotswood who won 2011's Hot 20 Readers' Choice spot. Congrats to Beth! We all so enjoy your humor and tireless coverage of the SF political and social scenes. 

Beth will be featured in a spread in October's 2011 Hot 20 issue, along with 19 other Hot 20s, chosen by 7x7 editors. But until then, get a dose of Beth on her hilarious '70s news spoof Necessary Conversations.
