Chef, Food Network TV host and cookbook author Nigella Lawson is coming in town for a book signing as a "Cooks with Books" event. Lawson's new cookbook Nigellissima focuses on easy, Italian-inspired recipes. If you know that a cookbook alone is not enough, you can also sign up for a special meal afterwards inspired by Nigella's new book. The event starts at 12:30 PM Saturday and is going to be at Left Bank in Larkspur. Signing is open and free, but make sure to get tickets for dinner here.@ 507 Magnolia ave. Larkspur

A multi-instrument genius, and often described as "eclectic," David Lindley is known for work with the likes of Jackson Browne and Dolly Parton. Lindley's solo-performance will include a mashup of musical styles, as well as an uncanny humor sure to please. Tickets are $25 here. The show is 7 pm, Saturday at the Kanbar Center for the Performing Arts. @ 200 N San Pedro rd. San Rafaeld

What happens when one just keeps waiting? Experience the famous play Waiting For Godot in an intimate performance with the Marin Theatre Company. Sunday is the last night of the performance, so make sure to check it out before it is done. Also, save all your most existential questions for the post-show Q&A. Saturday (2 pm and 8 pm) and Sunday (2 pm and 7 pm) Ticket prices vary, buy them here @ 397 Miller ave. Mill Valley, CA
