The 44th annual Winter Open Studios launches this weekend at the ICB Art Center. Over 80 artists will exhibit sculpture, photography, jewelry and other artwork inspired by the musical theme of 4x4 time, and it all takes place in a historic World War II-era industrial building. There will be live acoustic music and a special group show in Gallery 111 that will highlight the influence of music on art called "Rhythm and Hues." If you prefer your holiday gifts to be on the crafty side, skip the stuffy mall and head to the beach to peruse the Muir Beach Quilters Holiday Arts Fair. Over 30 local vendors from Marin and the Bay Area will be hawking their crafty wares and artwork with the scenery of Muir Beach as their backdrop.
