Savor Summer in Sonoma at Madrone Estate Winery

By

Representing more than 150 years of winemaking history in Sonoma Valley, Madrone Estate Winery is the oldest operating winery in the charming hamlet of Glen Ellen. Winemaker Kat Doescher crafts exceptional small-lot, estate-driven wines from the historical property and renowned Sonoma County vineyards. The wine portfolio spans from rosé, chardonnay and sauvignon blanc to rich, bold reds such as Estate Old Vine Zinfandel, Estate Petite Sirah, and cabernet sauvignon. Madrone's wine portfolio also includes old-world Italian varietals such as sangiovese and Estate Barbera, which reflect the history of the early winemaking pioneers who planted vines on the estate.

Madrone Estate offers a fun, casual and welcoming environment for wine tasting. Guests are invited to bring their own picnic lunch to enjoy at picnic tables under the olive grove, taste award-winning wines in the newly renovated tasting room, or soak up the sunshine on the expansive patio. The spacious outdoor patio is suitable for large groups and includes access to a bocce court for friendly competition. If you choose to taste indoors, feel free to sit at the bar, the lounge, or at a table while nibbling on cheese and charcuterie. It's hard not to feel relaxed in such a peaceful place.

Every Sunday during the summer season, homemade flatbreads from the wood-fired oven will be available to enjoy with your favorite wine while listening to music from the Acoustic Sundays music series.

Madrone Estate Winery provides the ideal setting for a fun day in Wine Country. With a sunny patio and bocce court amidst 100 year-old vines, sip delicious wines in one of Sonoma's most incomparable settings. Savor summer by experiencing an authentic Sonoma getaway at Madrone Estate Winery.
