An Adorable Bike-Centric Wedding Along the Waterfront

By

They had planned on a wedding in Golden Gate in October, but IT expert Greg Janess had wanted to honor his late father by having it on his birthday, March 18th. So he and his wife-to-be, Mel, picked a spot, Pier 14, scaled down the wedding to 3 people per side, found a good Sunday brunch spot (Ironside), and did it. The cake was Miette– it was rich but so good!

Check out their adorable wedding video below:

Mel's dress was a vintage find on Etsy, the heels were Guess, the tights from ASOS.com, the gloves were a vintage find, and the head piece, belt, bouquet (flowers from the market), and make up were made/done by the bride.

Greg's suit was Ben Sherman, boots were Levi's, the boutonnieres were made by Mel from one of Greg's father's old ties.

Public Bikes loaned the wedding party some of their bicycles for the bride and groom's attendees to ride along the waterfront. It was important to Greg, being a huge bicycle advocate/lover, that everyone was on bikes.
