A Wedding at The Great American Music Hall

A Wedding at The Great American Music Hall

By

When it came time for Jeni, who works at Pandora, and Mark, who's in a band called the Hustler Van Band, to decide on a wedding location, they opted for San Francisco's oldest historic night club venue that fit their eclectic taste and love for music: The Great American Music Hall.

Guests were greeted upon entrance with personalized backstage passes, some including the guest's name, relation to the bride and groom, and their favorite song. The ceremony took place on stage, with a backdrop of bookshelves and candles. The couple was married by the fire chief (and groom's boss). The groom works for the San Francisco Fire Department, a legacy that goes way back in Mark's family.

During the cocktail hour guests mingled around the bar, and upstairs on the balconies overlooking the main stage area. Tying in the groom's Italian heritage, the couple opted for food stations, and antipasti to be placed on all of the dining tables. The night continued with an ever present stream of awesome 80's dance music. Waiting for the guests upon their exit was a merchandise table with lots of personalized goodies, from guitar picks, to beer coozies, to matchbooks.
