Notable Russki about town—and lady friend to former Mayor Willie Brown—Sonya Molodetskaya is one of San Francisco's most beguiling party personalities. So who better to break down this year's upcoming beauty pagent, Miss Russian SF? 

If you have previous commitments for this Sunday, May 3rd, you should probably postpone them. And I will tell you why. 

I know, once or twice in your life, you wondered about Russian women. It's no secret that they've proved to be not only beautiful, but charismatic, elegant, and self confident—present company obviously included. So, what will you do when the best of the bunch gather in one room? It's one of the city's hottest events: Miss Russian SF will be held on Sunday May 3rd at Temple., hosted in English and Russian, natch. 

Finalists will compete in three categories: an introduction about their background, a talent show (i.e. singing, dancing, monologue, poem, musical instrument, comedy, etc.), and intelligence—contestants will answer a randomly picked open-ended question.
