The Crown Motel is a hidden gem in North Lake Tahoe.
Originally built in the 1950s, the Crown is relishing a recent remodel that highlights its breathtaking views, fascinating history, and renowned reputation as a convivial gathering place for generations. In addition to updated guest rooms, the unique property has a variety of impressive outdoor areas including one of the largest private sandy beaches on Lake Tahoe.

A number of amenities here help guests get the most fun out of their stay. After enjoying a complimentary grab-and-go breakfast (including buttery house-made croissants and locally roasted coffee), guests may hike or cycle in the morning and then paddle board or kayak in the afternoon—gear rentals are available here along with plenty of toys for playing on the lake.
There are also fire pits, barbecues, beach cruisers, cornhole, and sand bocce. The swimming pool and spa are currently under construction. Plus, thanks to its location in the charming town of Kings Beach, shops, restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, and bars are just steps away.
For those who prefer to #WFB (work from the beach), the wifi extends out to the lake and there are office amenities available for all to utilize.
Now through June 16th, Crown Motel guests can save up to 30 percent when they book the Stay More & Save promotion, available for minimum two-night stays Sundays through Thursdays. There are a wide variety of room layouts and offerings to suit the needs of all groups and families, whether you're coming just for a low-key getaway or planning a family reunion, birthday, or wedding. There are even a few dog-friendly rooms for four-legged family members.
Make the Crown your home away from home this spring and summer.
