Five New Things to Eat and Drink at AT&T Park

By

It’s spring, the weather’s dandy, and the Giants are playing like the rock stars they are. So hustle yourself on down to AT&T Park, and stat, because there are also some new things for you to eat and drink. You’ll have to spend a small fortune while you’re there, but here are five new tasty things that are worth it for you to hunt down. Swing, batter!

Chicago Dogs:
You can’t watch a baseball game without a hot dog! Don’t even try. The new Chicago Dog cart behind home plate has the classic Chicago-style dog down, with all the fixins’. (You can also order a San Francisco-style dog, or a Coney Island dog with chili cheese and onions.)

Original Joe’s Burger:
Old school SF classic Original Joe’s is now selling its iconic burger at the ballpark (at the The Derby Grill Specialty Burger stand). In the great burger-versus-hotdog debate, we’ll let you figure this one out on your own.

Poutine Fries:
Kind of over the garlic fries? Yeah, we feel you. Well, you can now get some poutine fries throughout the park, with beef gravy and cheddar cheese. Not technically all-American, but that’s ok. Canada has baseball, too.

Pulled Pork Nachos:
Yeah, that’s right. Move over, weird meat and rubbery sauce. These nachos at the new McCovey's BBQ Restaurant Kiosk (just above O'Doul's Gate) feature smoky pulled pork. Just be sure to grab plenty of napkins—this dish is far from tidy.

Wine at Vintage 58:
That’s right, you don’t have to just drink beer (although beer is delicious). The new Vintage 58 tasting room behind home plate offers wines from around the world plus some local picks too, and four are even on tap. Have fun figuring out some wine pairings with the new dishes mentioned above. Cheers!
