Hayes Valley welcomes Rails to the neighborhood + more style scoop

The shop's peaceful color palette and textured, tasteful decor complement the brand's California cool meets elegant Europeanclothing.

Plus, Sant & Abel and CW Stockwell host a pop-up to celebrate their very pink PJ collab, Codex Beauty Labs makes cheeky socks to promote its vegan skincare, and Airstream x Pottery Barn release their second wanderlust-inspired collection.

Rails opens a brick-and-mortar in Hayes Valley, plaid-shirt aficionados rejoice.

L.A. lifestyle brand Rails finally traveled north and christened its first Bay Area boutique. With a minimalist color palette, wood detailing and vintage fabrics, the 1,600-square-foot space is the perfect backdrop for the label's effortless essentials. The men's and women's staples, including the brand's signature plaid shirts with an incredible hand-feel, are a sublime blend of laid-back SoCal cool and refined European style. We're thinking founder/creative director/Cal Berkeley alum Jeff Abrams probably wants an excuse to regularly visit his old stomping grounds...and who can blame him?

ICYMI: Rail's moved into the former home of longtime resident Dish, which shuttered during the pandemic (boo) but opened a new spot in Oakland (yay!).

Think pink and up your pajama game with Sant and Abel x CW Stockwell.

What happens when a storied 115-year-old California wallpaper company (CW Stockwell) gets in bed with a luxe sleepwear brand (Sant and Abel)? Pink Martinique banana leaf pajamas, of course. Available in several styles for women, men and kids, the PJs are based on a much loved—and much imitated—wallpaper pattern designed by CWS in 1942. To celebrate the beautiful blush collab, the partners are popping up on Thursday, May 20th (10am to 4pm) at the new Evars Collective furniture showroom in San Carlos. Not only can you scoop up the PJs but you'll be able to shop an assortment of CW Stockwell pillows. FYI: Evars Collective is normally open only to the trade, so get a peek while you can. We're making a beeline for the night shirt and the champers.

// Pajamas are $65 to $198; shop the May 20th pop-up at Evars Collective, 1600 El Camino Real (San Carlos), or online at santandabel.com.

Codex Beauty Labs educates folks on the benefits of sustainable skincare with...statement socks.

Silicon Valley's Codex Beauty Labs decided to have a little fun and celebrate its new #InformedNotInfluenced campaign with a really good pair of unise) athleisure socksembroidered with "Talk nerdy to me." There's also a white tee with the INI hashtag. The limited-edition organic-cotton merch is meant to help inform consumers about the benefits of, and science behind, CBL's pioneering, plant-based biotech products. Along with the socks (to be worn scrunched, obvi), we're psyched to try the bestselling Bia Facial Oil and Bia Skin Superfood. We're confident that CEO/founder Dr. Barbara Paldus, who has a Ph.D. from Stanford, knows her science.

// The socks are $11 and the tee is $26. Shop online at codexbeauty.com.

Get ready for some new adventures in bed (and elsewhere) with Airstream x Pottery Barn.

Hello, happy campers. It may have been a minute since you roadtripped, but with jabs in arms, masks becoming less omnipresent, and the summer stars calling, it's time to get the hell outta town. Before you go, though, check out the just-released Airstream x Pottery Barn 2.0 capsule. The utterly charming, wanderlust-y collection features more than 40 pieces primed for indoor and outdoor living—think bedding, pillows, dinnerware, drinkware, table linens, rugs, barware, and travel-ready games and accessories.

We heart pretty much everything, hough we're particularly smitten with the organic, trip-inspired sheets, airstream-shaped pillows and bottle opener, these mugs and this tea towel.

And, no, you don't need an RV to shop the products. Right, Pottery Barn president Marta Benson? "Whether you own an Airstream or are just dreaming of an adventure, the pieces in the collection combine style, functionality, and the comforts of home, " she says.

// The collection ranges in price from a $12 placemat to an $899 rug. Shop online or at Pottery Barn stores, potterybarn.com.
