Presented by AIA San Francisco and the Center for Architecture + Design, San Francisco Living: Home Tours is the first tour series of its kind in the Bay Area to promote a wide variety of architectural styles, neighborhoods, and residences—all from the architect's point of view.

The annual program provides design enthusiasts and the general public with an inside look into the world of distinctive residences in San Francisco. Projects are showcased in an open house format.

Participants have the opportunity to see some of the area's latest residential projects from the inside out, meet design teams, explore housing trends, and discover design solutions that inspire unique Bay Area living. Please note: Due to the hilly nature of the terrain, featured projects are not ADA accessible. Tours are self-guided. Tickets provide directions and maps to each home. 

Home Tours Headquarters: Stable Café, 2128 Folsom Street. 9/28, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. 9/29, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Built in the 1800’s as Mayor Phelan’s carriage house, Stable reflects the twin passions of founders Thomas Brian Lackey and Malcolm Davis – food and shelter. The old carriage space is now Stable café and Mission Creek Kitchen and the old hayloft is home to Malcolm Davis Architecture. After extensive renovation Stable is also an incubator for local businesses and a meeting house for the diverse Stable community.
