'Twas quite the week over at Eater SF, and since it's already Friday, here's editor Paolo Lucchesi to provide your weekly recap of all the restaurant news from the last seven days.

1) The big restaurant news of the week was the star-studded Postrio farewell, but before the SF classic rode off into the sunset, Eater took a look back on 20 years of media buzz, from Herb Caen to Michael Bauer.

2) A new chain pizzeria has opened in the Mission, and if there's one thing the Mission loves to do, it's debate about whether chains belong in the Mission.

3) The new exterior of Bourbon & Branch's upcoming offshoot Rick House was unveiled, and my, she's quite the looker.

4) There was tons of "pig posturing"—which 7x7loves, if I recall correctly—at this year's Cochon 555. From bacon rice krispies to pig-skin sushi, it was a porktastic affair with five of the city's top chefs, but only one—Poggio's Peter McNee—was crowned Prince of Pork.

5) Heartwarming, feel-good news of the week: the Alemany Farmers Market has allowed its vendors to stay.

6) Former rat-den PJ's Oysterbed has been claimed by the folks behind Harry's Bar on Fillmore, who confirmed that they've leased it to Fresca. The nuevo-Peruvian joint should be open in a few months if all goes to plan.

7) Oh, and did I mention Eater is broadcasting live from a little place called Aspen?
