The festival kicks off with Mike Mills' Beginners featuring Ewan McGregor, but our bets are on local filmmaker Kelly Duane de la Vega's doc Better This World, Brit chamber rockers Tindersticks' live set to a montage of Clare Denis' flicks, Miranda July's The Future, and, of course, Matthew Barney's Drawing Restraint 17.
