Hangar 1 Takes Over SF Tech Company Happy Hours
Being a well-known local bar favorite, Hangar 1 Vodka is set to take over the Bay Area tech world through their 7x7 Hangout series, scheduled to start mid-May. They're embracing the startup culture by contributing their vodka to a select few office happy hours, chosen from our 25 Bay Area Startups Making a World of Difference list. (Check. It. Out.) But, much like all companies that stem from these parts, H1 takes everything to the next level.
They've rallied some of the city's top culinary and mixology talent to come up with unique infused cocktails using fresh farmers market ingredients and, of course, Hangar 1 Vodka as the featured element. Household names include the likes of Rich Table's Evan and Sarah Rich, Cavalier's Jennifer Puccio, and Maven's Isaac Miller and Kate Bolton. This is going to be pretty epic. Once each team has their inspired drinks set, 7x7 is pairing them up with local companies Lookout, Pinterest, and Creative Live for the ultimate happy hour experience, exclusive to the company's employees and their plus ones.
The drinks are poured, guests are feeling good, readers are voting on the drink they most want to try, and at the very end of the series, a winning chef/mixologist pair is named! From there, Hangar 1 is bringing the chef, their drink specialist, 7x7 editors, and top tech execs from their affiliated startup together for an intimate dinner, featuring the chef's cooking talents and the coveted cocktail infusion.
But that's not even the end of the madness! They're throwing another party for the employees who supported them along the way at their favorite after-hours bar and serving up all the Hangar 1 Vodka they could ever hope to have (responsibly).
