ICYMI: Earlier this year, The Elbo Room faced eviction, but ownership recently announced on Facebook that they have extended their lease through January 1, 2018. Win!

Monday: Tony Toni Tone at Yoshi's (Oakland)

You have one last chance to see R&B legend Tony Toni Tone, on the tail end of a five-night stay at Yoshi’s. And if you can’t catch the show, keep your eyes peeled for their 25th Anniversary album, due out later this year.

Thursday: Brian Setzer Orchestra at the Warfield

Famed songmaster Brian Setzer and his equally famous orchestra just released their first studio Christmas album in a decade. We always approve when holiday concerts evolve and move on from past laurels, and that’s what Rockin' Rudolph promises. Of course, many of the standbys are present for the vaunted 18-piece big band, including “Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree,” which will never not rock.

Sunday - Tuesday: Dead and Company at Bill Graham Civic Center

Mickey Hart. Bill Kreutzmann. Bob Weir. You know their names, their riffs, their psychedelic musings, their iconography. The idolatry begins on Sunday and rolls into Monday and Tuesday, as the band performs two(!) sets each night. (No Phil Lesh for these gigs—Sorry, they’re not sorry.)

Sunday: The White Panda at the Regency

50 million White Panda fans can’t be wrong, right? The electronic mashup duo have had their songs streamed 50 million times, along with 25 million YouTube Soundcloud streams. The masses approve and you will too.
