Le Dix-Sept Pâtisserie is a micro patisserie based in SF, and this week they've teamed up with Four Barrel Coffee and Dandelion Chocolates. With culinary and pastry experience at both Benu and Saison, Le Dix's masterminds specialize in savory and sweet creations including artfully crafted tarts, quiche, brioche, caramels and nougat. Find them at Dandelion through Saturday the 14th and try their Chocolate Cannelés and a Mango Coconut Milk Tart. On Sunday the 15th, head to Four Barrel Alley at Caledonia & 15th Street from 9 am - 3 pm for their Tart Café (Four Barrel Espresso Chocolate Tart with Espresso Gelée) and savory items such as a Seasonal Mushrooms tart featuring Far West Fungi mushrooms and a delicious Quiche Lorraine (French Comte Cheese & Smoked Bacon).

The Half Moon Bay Brewing Company just gave you a new, awesome reason to head south. To celebrate Oktoberfest, Executive Chef Gaston Alfaro will also be offering a beer-friendly Oktoberfest menu reflecting the cuisine of Germany (available through October 6). Also starting September 16 is an All Day Happy Hour at the Brewing Company which will take place in the bar Monday through Friday 11:30 am– 6 pm. Time to party!

Wednesday, September 18

Not content to rest on its laurels after the epic Street Food Festival, La Cocina will now host "Holy Mole," a culinary workshop featuring two La Cocina entrepreneurs, Isabel Caudillo of El Buen Comer and Verónica Salazar of El Huarache Loco. Mole, a traditional sauce with an average of 26 ingredients and uncertain origins, ain't easy to make on your own, so look to these two experts to guide you. During the class, attendees will also enjoy Mexican appetizers, beer, wine, and other beverages. Starts at 6:30 pm, ends at 9 pm. La Cocina, 2948 Folsom Street.

Thursday, September 19

Hail the opening of the new FOG CITY (at 1300 Battery Street), where you can enjoy live music from Project:Pimento, tastes of Chef Bruce Hill's delicious menu, and complimentary signature cocktails. Tickets are $125 a person and can be purchased by clicking here. But it gets better: You'll be partying to benefit the Raphael House, a shelter for homeless families and children. Starts at 6 pm, ends at 10 pm.

Every Monday through September 30

Strike Brewing is taking over the taps at Patxi's Pizza for the month as a cure for the Monday blues–we all have them! Strike Brewing Company’s co-Founder and Brewmaster Drew Ehrlich will be on hand to discuss their beers, lead tableside tastings and shoot the breeze with guests–and luckily Patxi's will offer special pies to pair with Strike's craft brews. Try their BBQ chicken combo pizza paired with Strike Imperial Red, the Bianco Verde with Strike Blonde, and the meat- and mushroom-heavy "Favorite" paired with the Strike Brown.
