Win Tickets to the Tyler Florence-Hosted "Paso Glow" Dinner in October
Sometimes it's okay to cheat on Napa with California's other wine country destination, the Central Coast (especially since Sandra Oh, Virginia Madsen, Paul Giamatti and Thomas Haden Church made it look pretty fun in Sideways). And Sunset Mag's four-day SAVOR the Central Coast food and wine festival is the perfect chance to do it. The city of Paso Robles is running a contest on their Facebook page to win tickets to Savor’s grand tasting on Oct 3rd and two tickets to the "Paso Glow" dinner on Oct 2nd (a total value of $420).
The first-ever "Paso Glow" dinner will be hosted by Tyler Florence and Sunset Magazine's wine editor Sara Schneider. The whole thing's complimented by local gourmet cheese and of course, a bunch of wine (25 renowned vintners will be there).
Enter now to win tickets - the contest will be over and turn into a pumpkin on August 31 at midnight. http://www.facebook.com/TravelPaso

Why, oh why, do I want to go to Paso? First, I just blindly leaped into retirement from a really stressful job. Time to explore (and party!) Check. I love the wines from Paso Robles. Check. I just recently discovered how incredibly beautiful the Central Coast is; I can't get enough of being there. And I haven't seen enough. Check. And, c'mon. Tyler Florence? Woohoo! Love his show. And can't wait to eat at the Wayfarer. Check. So, please?
