My life is 50% wondering if it's too late to drink coffee and 50% wondering if it's too early to drink alcohol.

Smooch a Snake at Foreign Cinema
Since debuting this summer, the Serpent's Kiss cocktail at Foreign Cinema has been in high demand. Bar manager Nicky Beyries created the fresh, fruity elixir with aged rum, arrack, passionfruit syrup, orange juice, lime and fresh mint, generating more than 5,000 orders from bar patrons. Pair a few of these with one of Foreign Cinema's nightly movie screenings under the stars for a perfect Indian Summer evening. Movies start after dark, so make reservations for 8pm or later. // 2534 Mission St. (Mission), foreigncinema.com

Bounce Sundays Feature $100 Champagne Magnums
Wondering where the music industry peeps go dancing when they're not working a gig? You'll find them at Bounce Sundays at MatrixFillmore, drinking $100 Magnums of champagne. DJs play an open format, ranging from up-tempo dance to pop, from 9pm to 2am. If you need more than bubbly to get your internal bass bumping, try a Cheeky Shot for $5 or a half-price specialty cocktail, available from 6pm to 10pm. // 3138 Fillmore St. (Marina), matrixfillmore.com

Wente Vineyards Hosts Front Porch Music Festival
Hot Buttered Rum will headline this Saturday's Front Porch Music Festival at Wente Vineyards, which features two different venues for nearly a dozen independent musicians. Grab a glass of wine and enjoy an acoustic set in the barrel room, or spring for a bottle and spread out a blanket on the front lawn by the outdoor stage. Better yet, do both. Food and wine will be available for purchase on site, so leave the picnic basket at home. Tickets are available online, $35 for adults ($45 at the door), and $10 for children 12 and under. // 5565 Tesla Rd. (Livermore), wentefrontporch.com

Delarosa Doubles Down on Happy Hour
Happy Hour just got easier now that Delarosa is hosting bar specials at both SF locations every weekday from 4pm to 6pm. The popular Italian pizzeria is offering aperitivo cocktails, wines by the glass, beer, pizzettas and antipasti for $6 and under. The newest location on Yerba Buena Lane features a patio decked with olive trees and outfitted with heaters, wind screens and blankets for those shivery SF summer nights. // 37 Yerba Buena Lane (Mid Market) & 2175 Chestnut St. (Marina), delarosasf.com

Storytime with Sherry
Order a flight of sherry at The Treasury, and you're likely to be taken on a storytelling adventure to the Spanish "sherry triangle" by bar director-partner Carlos Yturria or one of his staff. The resident experts will choose the sherries for your 3- or 6-glass flight ($17/$29), and suggest what to taste for, explain how and where each sherry is made, and recommend what to eat with each type. With more than 25 varietals in-house, they won't be running out of stories to tell any time soon. // 200 Bush St. (Financial District), thetreasurysf.com
