San Francisco designer Marissa Goodman Thieriot has launched Tempest + Bentley, a luxe line of sustainable, American-made cable-knit sweaters. The Fall 2015 collection features seven styles, including crew necks with clever cutouts and a full-length sweater dress. They're currently available for pre-order, with prices ranging from $695 to $995. You'll never freeze during SF summer again. 

Benicia clothing store Christina S (370 First Street) will host four Project Runway alums for a trunk show on Saturday, February 28 from 12 to 6pm. Designers Richard Hallmarq, Samantha Black, Melissa Fleis, and Daniel Esquivel will be on hand to answer your shopping and design questions. 

Banana Republic has picked up several leather beauties from beloved Mission-based bag designer Basil Racuk to sell in-store. Look for his Paper Bag, Pod Pouch and Foldover Clutch in metallic hues at Banana Republic's SF Grant Avenue and NY's Lower 5th Avenue locations.

SF's prettiest pantry supplier, March, recently launched a registry service. Now, guests can help stock your future home with the store's beautifully curated collections. Think ceramics from Brickett Davda and Christiane Perrochon, decorative accessories from Michael Verheyden, and crystal glassware from Deborah Ehrlich and Lobmeyr. March also introduced an exclusive line of made-to-order monogram dinnerware, with glassware and table linens coming this spring.

The new La Perla boutique recently opened its doors at 170 Geary, providing a haven for those who appreciate the beauty of a good foundation. Peruse unmentionables and swimsuits at the stunning Union Square location, designed by Italian architect Roberto Baciocchi. 

Academy of Art University's School of Fashion presented at New York Fashion Week earlier this month, with 15 young designers presenting 10 avant-garde collections.
