Break a sweat at Lorna Jane's weekend warehouse sale + more style news

The dog days of summer also find Unionmade dipping its well-heeled toe into athleisure for the first time and Warby Parker shrinking its frames for cool kiddos.

Sweat it out this weekend at a seriously major activewear sale.

Sure, we're sad that Zinc Details closed a few months ago—but at least the Fillmore Street space is getting put to good use: From Friday, August 17th through Sunday the 19th, Lorna Jane will be hosting a warehouse sale where you'll be able to score up to 60 percent off sports bras, active tights, leggings, workout tops, shorts, accessories, and more (crikey!). The Australian brand, with a store in Cow Hollow, is known for stylish, quality performance gear for every activity under the sun fog. Hours are 10am to 7pm Friday and Saturday; 10am to 4pm on Sunday. This is one not to miss, ladies. // 1633 Fillmore St. (Lower Pac Heights), lornajane.com

Kids need (affordable) hipster glasses, too.

And Warby Parker is here for it with the launch of its new children's collection, available in stores and online. (Sorry, your back-to-school list just got a little longer.) WP for Kids features six scaled-down versions of longtime favorite frames: Wilkie, Lyle, Louise, Percey, Chamberlain, and Daisy. Available in two sizes—Jr. for kids 8 and up, and Jr. Jr. for 4- to 7-year-olds—the petite specs are made of the same materials as the adult frames/lenses, and retail for $95. Plus, for each pair of children's glasses sold, a kid in need also gets a pair. Get your adorable four-eyes seeing clearly at any Bay Area WP store, including two locations in SF, one in Berkeley and one in Palo Alto. // warbyparker.com

Unionmade is suddenly feeling sporty.

All credit to cool activewear brand Fourlaps, which just earned the distinction of being the first (and only) men's athletic brand to be carried by Unionmade. The much-loved Castro retailer, lauded for its sharply curated mix of elevated and responsibly sourced hard-to-find brands, was won over by Fourlaps' thoughtfully designed tanks, tees, hoodies, shorts, joggers and jackets.

"Being based in San Francisco, having an active lifestyle is part of our culture, but we've traditionally shied away from activewear as street apparel, until now. Fourlaps aligns with our love of authentic products," says Todd Barket, Unionmade founder. "The brand is built equally for fitness endeavors as it is to be worked into your daily wardrobe. We think it's a great concept and we're excited to share it with our customers," he adds. // 493 Sanchez St. (Castro), unionmade.com
