We were all awkward teenagers once.

It's refreshing, and encouraging, to know that even the biggest celebrities were all once regular teenagers just trying to get through the complexities of young adult life. The Bay Area has always been home to some great talent; catch a glimpse of a few before they got famous, in this little jaunt into NorCal history.


Steve Jobs

Homestead High School is where Steven Paul Jobs attended school as a teen, before he changed the world with Apple. Jobs was born in San Francisco, but attended high school (graduating in 1972) and college (De Anza College, where he unveiled the Macintosh in 1984), in Cupertino. Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak also attended Homestead.
