Let our Exquisite Corpse game begin! In the spirit of Chronicle Books' inspiring new tome The Exquisite Book: 100 Artists Play a Collaborative Game (a twist on the classic Exquisite Corpse game), we're challenging you to rev up those artistic engines.
Each Wednesday in December, we'll post a drawing by a local artist. You'll craft a "response" drawing and send it to us for a chance to win $140 in local gift certificates. At the end of the month, we'll make our favorite drawing into a poster sold exclusively on 7x7.com. So if you've got skills and need exposure, you'll definitely want to get in on this.
Our first inspiration drawing (seen above) is by local artist Eunice Moyle. Take it in, sketch a response, and send a JPEG image to us (500 width by 700 height at 72 dpi please!) with your name and info at exquisite@7x7.com. If you're a winner, we may ask for a higher resolution version.
You've got until next Tuesday, Dec. 7 at noon, to get your fabulous, witty and provocative drawn response to us. Next Wednesday, Dec. 8, we'll post the first batch of submitted drawings. Show us what you've got!
