It's down to the Top 25, gathered here to melt your eyes and wear out your throat from ooh-ing and aaww-ing so much. You have until March 21st to vote (the new system will let you vote once). We're just a stone's throw away from crowning a winner this year, so will it be a tiny lap dog, or a big burly pup, all gangly legs and floppy ears? Reflecting on the spirit of the competition, our dogs had so much fun on the campaign trail "shaking hands and licking babies". We even stopped by the Brixton to make an appearance at 7x7's Nightlife launch party a few weeks back. We are very anxious to see if we are still in the running. Rigged or not, good luck to all!

NOBODY can see their votes, SO, NOBODY knows where they stand in the rankings, 24 hours before cut off. In the last round, we could check our votes, so we knew where we stood, and we could lobby our friends, accordingly. Because of this lack of "foresight" my worry is that 7x7 could have already picked the 7 finalists, and our votes could mean nothing.... 7x7 please post current rankings.

Good comment by Sammie's guardian. What a great way to start your day - a cute dog contest! I hope there's a support group for post-cute-dog-contest-syndrome. ROCKS is a 'solid' contender. Sammie is a rescue. She has come a long way in the 9 months that I have known her. I rescued her because I thought she was cute, and personable, and wanted to give her a chance. She has exceeded all expectations, and delighted me, my friends, acquaintances and strangers walking in the street, by her absolute friendliness and pure LOVE. In every breath she breathes, she says "I love you". To me, my friends, my neighbors, strangers, homeless people. No judgment. That is what we all should be like. She is a lesson to us all.
