Gwyneth Paltrow Teams up with Juice Beauty for Earth Day

By

Academy Award-winning actress and lifestyle entrepreneur Gwyneth Paltrow was recently tapped to be the creative director of makeup for local skincare line Juice Beauty, and she showed her passion for the brand last week at an Earth Day event. It seems the local line, which we personally love, and Paltrow have a shared love for all things eco, and each other: Goop and Juice Beauty are now mutually invested in each other's companies. What does this mean for us? Paltrow, Juice Beauty’s founder Karen Behnke, and her team of scientists will lead the development of a new collection of high performance makeup made with certified organic ingredients that will be released by Juice Beauty later this year. We personally use Juice Beauty's BB cream every morning, so having Paltrow's additional star power behind forthcoming products can only mean good things.

Paltrow celebrated Earth Day last week at a fundraiser co-hosted by Juice Beauty and Plumpjack, with pop-up shops from local brands including CADE winery, Ashley Morgan sustainable jewelry, Zero Motorcycles and Amour Vert sustainable fashion. Hilary Newsom (President of PlumpJack Group), Jennifer Siebel Newsom (founder of The Representation Project), and Jeanne Rizzo (President & CEO Breast Cancer Fund) were all in attendance, as proceeds benefitted the Breast Cancer Fund and The Representation Project.
