Coconut milk and honey. Buttered rum. Green tea and peppermint. These delicious ingredients sound like the makings of a dessert, but at some of Tahoe's resorts and spas you actually spread them on your body or enjoy them with your pedicure. Indulge all five senses with these five heavenly spa treatments at the lake. You will want to lick yourself clean.

Royal Coconut Milk And Honey Body Treatment

With this body treatment, the therapists at the Resort at Squaw Creek spa gently massage pure coconut milk and honey sugar into your skin. Naturally occurring alpha-hydroxy buffs away dead surface skin cells and creates soft and healthy skin. A coconut and honey mask is then massaged into your skin with warm stones and a hot oil scalp treatment is massaged into your hair. Yum. $200 for 75 minutes.

Green Tea and Peppermint Manicure & Pedicure

The stylish spa at the Ritz-Carlton at Northstar-at-Tahoe begins this invigorating manicure and pedicure with a warm soak in essential oils followed by a peppermint exfoliation that leaves skin soft and tingly. At the end of this treatment, a deep moisturizing massage brings skin back to life. Manicure: $75 for 60 minutes. Pedicure: $130 for 60 minutes.

Buttered Rum Rejuvenation

The Ritz-Carlton also offers another delicious mani/pedi. This soothing combination is a blend of brown sugar and premium aged rum finished with caramel body milk to leave the skin soft and hydrated. $150 for 80 minutes.

Express Massages with Champagne

The Stillwater Spa at the Hyatt Regency offers “Therapy Thursdays” for both Tahoe locals and Tahoe visitors. Every Thursday until May 23, 2014, the spa is offering 25-minute Express Massages and 25-minute Express Facials. Therapy Thursdays’ special express services include a complimentary glass of champagne and full access to the spa’s facilities, like the dry cedar sauna, eucalyptus steam room, luxurious pool (heated to 87 degrees), and oversized jetted whirlpools. $60 for 25 minutes.

The Peaks Vitamin C Facial

After all that dessert, it's time for some vitamins. Just down the hill in Genoa, the spa at 1862 David Walley's Hot Springs Resort offers a facial that takes your skin to new heights. The Peaks Vitamin C Facial brightens and firms your skin with anti-inflammatory agents and is followed with a Luminous Vitamin C Forming Mask. Drink it up. $135 for 50 minutes.
