We've made no attempt to hide our love for the Outer Sunset'sGeneral Store. The shop on the edge of the city is celebrating its 1st birthday on Saturday, December 4th, and we feel like our baby is growing up so quickly! And what a party it's gonna be: at 4 pm, Mason St. Peter and Serena Mitnik-Miller are getting the party started with one of our favorite local bands (who will hopefully sing their own version of "Happy Birthday To You"), Sonny & the Sunsets, to perform alongside Ruben Diaz & the Objects and a very special musical guest.

Of course you can browse their very covetable selection of housewares, books, knick knacks and clothes for some post-Black Friday gift shopping, and enjoy lemonade, beer, and Vietnamese sandwiches by Le Banh Mi. This is the perfect excuse to hike out there and take in the fruits of the Outer Sunset. Here's to many more, General Store!
