Curmudgeon, loving husband, cynic, profound admirer of boobs - you could call comedian-musician Tim Minchin many things. But whatever your vocabulary leanings, you'll probably just end up calling him funny. Because he is.

(Warning: It’s entirely possible to lose forty minutes to his Youtube page in the name of “research.”)

Minchin's inimitable brand of musical comedy covers environmentalism, the plight of the redhead, prejudice and, yes, boobs. All with a keen sense of logic that’s never swayed by the Storms of the world, even if they do have fairies tattooed on their lower backs. 

Since winning awards at Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Edinburgh’s Fringe Festival, Minchin has performed for ever-expanding crowds and appeared on Conan and Craig Ferguson and all over the BBC. He also wrote the music and lyrics for the Royal Shakespeare Company’s version of Roald Dahl’s Matilda that will appear in London’s West End this October. 

Check out his first ever San Francisco show on Friday, where Minchin does what he does best - play the piano and make you laugh. The tight jeans, thick eyeliner, and hair that looks ready to rocket into the stratosphere are a bonus.
