Joining the likes of Cate Blanchette, Pharrell Williams, Benedict Cumberbatch, and H.R.H. the Duchess of Cambridge (a.k.a. Kate Middleton), San Francisco style icon Vanessa Getty landed on Vanity Fair's International Best Dressed list. It'seasytoseewhy.

Getty made a name for herself in the larger sartorial world after famously (and brilliantly) appearing in W Magazine wearing nothing but oversized curlers and a white robe. Not a lot of people could make that look work. She did.

Regarding her own personal style, Getty credits Charlotte Rampling as a heady influence. She goes on to tell VF that her Narciso Rodriguez wedding dress remains her favorite piece of clothing, while a pair of Saint Laurent Classic Jane Ankle Straps are her most prized shoes. 

Getty, we should point out, was the only local to make the coveted list. Time to tighten up your look, stylish Bay Area denizens.
