Turkey Talk: 23 San Francisco Restaurants Open for Thanksgiving Dinner, Takeout + Delivery

Cooking a Thanksgiving feast is for the birds. And since it's not 2020 anymore, dining out is a delectable option.

Make reservations at San Francisco restaurants that are open for Thanksgiving dinner—there's little doubt that the chefs at Lord Stanley, Lily on Clement, Le Colonial, and The Cavalier can do a turkey—or a flank steak, curry pumpkin soup, or a squash-persimmon galette—way better than we can.

Playing it safe from Covid or just prefer a cozy holiday in? Several San Francisco restaurants are offering full Thanksgiving dinners, as well as lots of a la carte sides and desserts, for takeout and delivery.

Happy Turkey Day!

It's off to a sexy start, but the unique plates keep coming in the form of Vietnamese curry pumpkin soup; Momma's beloved stuffed salt-baked Diestel turkey breast with black truffle mushroom jus, shrimp fried rice, Robuchon potatoes, and ginger scallion relish, and candied lingonberry and strawberries.
